What is a Temple?

Temples are expected to conform to the basic tenets of the Wiccan religion, but are given great leeway in the actual running of the Temple.  We honor the Goddess in all aspects, follow the Wiccan Rede and adhere to the Rule of Three.

What is the purpose of a Temple?

The temple will hold classes, gatherings, and both informal and formal rituals. Also, under the Imperium of the our Temple Head, Rev. Peter J. Hertzberg, HP, we are able to conduct rituals such as Handfastings and Funerals. The Temple will also teach formal classes geared towards receiving First and Second Degree in the Correllian Tradition. The temple will grow and learn as we do.

For more understanding of our degrees please click here.

The Temple is also dedicated to our communities, both local and global. We are working towards providing community oriented and charitable activities, check out the message boards for projects or to suggest one. Please, contact us if you wish to assist us in this further.

Where is the Temple?

The Northern Lakes Temple Wiccan Group serves the Lake area of Southern Wisconsin including Madison, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Watertown, WI; Portage, WI and surrounding areas of Dane, Jefferson, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Kenosha, Racine, Dodge, Rock, Walworth, Washington, Columbia and Green Counties in conjunction with the Sacred Earth Covenant. However we welcome anyone from anywhere as we have members from all over the world and of all beliefs
